Purple Cow

I elongated the head or something. Actually I think I elongated the whole thing.


The front leg is wrong and weird. The eye should be higher. The ear is in the wrong place, but when I drew it in person it wasn't, I guess that's just how it turns out once you photograph it.

I inked and colored the first cow picture on my blog. :)

Poodle

I've also been drawing the Curly Fleece Poodle lately! Just noticed that I forgot the stitches on his muzzle. Woops!

CORRECTION

Hi,

I corrected the perspective of the foot, both thumbs and his eye.

I want to make more studies but I still have a lot of boring illustration to finish, I will post more as soon as I have time.

I kind of sat on this for a while because I got confused how I should draw the poms on the poodle. I didn't realize how bad that thumb looks until I scanned it. Also having trouble with making the light look like it's coming through the window. BG doesn't look dramatic enough.

Funny break

I've decided to give me a break with the mickey staging and make a pose construction from John's storyboard drawings.

Construction Slab

Hi,

here goes more studies of Slab construction.

I am trying to maintaing the guts and the negative spaces while keep a solid construction.

I had a problem with the right foot of the second drawing... I wanted it to be in perspective, but I don't know if I changed it too much when I compare with the original.

anyway, this is always my biggest doubt... to find the weak parts of the storyboard and to make them strong..

I need to go back to work, but will do more studies soon.
