Anne blocking stuff in for layout








I think I'm gonna need a lot of help on these. I can't tell if stuff is allowed to be touching or not.

also added bg and applied the drawings to them

    I'm with you on needing help, with this one. Working on my second round today and being aware of John's comments.

    Thanks Chris, I was going through some really awful artist's block. I'm starting to remember again why I want to be a better artist. Let's do this!

    Hmm, I wrote some notes but can't seem to find them.

    Shows lots of style

    But I would take just one of the drawings and check all the negative shapes and construction.

    The negative spaces between the characters and within the characters are almost gone, so the poses are tending towards some clutter.

    The rounded background and fence is distracting from the poses.

    The thing I would work on most is focus.

    Force all the details to follow a plan that makes what's happening read as clearly as possible.

    A layout should be even clearer than the storyboard drawing.
