First Try
-When I finished this drawing I wasn't very happy with the result. It looks bland... I don't know, it doesn't have the force or fun of John doodle, in my drawing Kaspar have his widespread arm, but in John's drawing Kaspar is POINTING, the pose have certain force, mine is just stiff and bland. I also destroyed all the constrast.
Second Try
I'm more happy with this.
I think his body has more weight, the contrast are there, the pose have certain amount of force like in John's drawing, it have certain inclination towards the pointing action.

I think I'm gonna have to do a post just about not toning down what you copy - everyone seems to have this problem
try caricaturing the drawings instead of going the other way
analyze with words BEFORE you start copying
John, I think that would be a great post to do. It would really help. Maybe Nico could video it and post it?
