To A.M. Bush

Hi Ann
you have lots of natural talent and flair. I have some questions.
Are you already working professionally? Some of this stuff reminds me of development art I've seen for the big studios.
Would you like me to critique any of it? Do you have time for particular studies?

I was trying to find your Art Lozzi BG studies that you did digitally (I think)

I was very impressed by those. Are you interested in doing more?

Can you upload the ones you did? Because I can't find them on your blog.

  1. Hi John

Thanks for taking the time to look at my blog, and inviting me to cartoon college.

I've never worked for a big studio (I wish I had!) For the past decade I've worked as a theme park caricature artist, drawing the trash of the earth in 95 degree weather.

I've got all of my bg studies here . I've also got a ton more backgrounds that I want to copy but havn't had time yet. Tomorrow I was going to start practicing painting Milt Gross bg's in Art Lozzi style.

I've already learned a ton from all the practicing I've been doing. I'm really mad at myself for having such poor structure and having had focused on such frilly tricks instead of the real deal. Please critique any of my work. I'm also really excitied for any particular studies you want me to do.

    Anne

  2. Hi Ann

thanks for making it easy. You have already critiqued what I wanted to help you with.

can you upload your Art Lozzi BGs in this blog? Are BG paintings anything you would want to do for a cartoon?
