Alice composition

1st step: Horizontal Line

- The horizon is not in the middle of the scene
- there's lots of space left for the foliage of the tree

2 Second Level

- Vanishing point is at the right of the picture, is not placed in the middle.
- Huge piece of ground at the left for the tree.
- The forms are organic

3 Tree
- The tree is inclined lightly towards the left
- The forms are organic
- The shape of the foliage is organic and asimetric
- In the branch where Alice is seated, it forms a shape that frames her.
- The negative spaces are organic too

4 Characters
- Alice and the other girl are framed by the tree
- There's lots of space for the swans
- the river guides the eye to the fund of the picture where there is seen the city that is framed by the tree and the shrubs.

Questions:
- The characters are always on the final step?

Final Step

- Here even the stars have a direction which gives them movement, they are made from an overal space
- not all the steps are drawn, only some lines give to understand the steps
- the little bricks on the wall are sorted in an uneven way, which gives them more naturalness.
