dog's caricature


I did this before I saw professor's post that explains the process of the exercise and what we really should do...
I think I could do better now that I read it.
anyway, I've made a quick sketch with the real proportions and tried to caricature it...
I am trying to creat poses for the queen that I copied before.. it is hard, but very fun...
I will post them soon.

    the head of the drawing at the top has no structure..

    the distortion makes no sense and doesn't help with idea of the drawing.

    I don't know what I was thinking when I did that.. maybe that is the problem...

    I WAS NOT THINKING!!!

    I was just distorting with no reason.

    everything is too busy

    use space against filled space to make the drawing read

    the dog lost his chin too
