Nice 40s curves and Primitive Kaspar

Pardon my lack of advancement. Still, better to be here I think than not.

Construction practice in characters whose curves I like.

Rudimentary doodle-based Kaspar pops up. I need to do the more anatomical finished bumpy Kaspar like Becky did.

  2. spumko: I'm looking at them
    spumko: very flowing
spumko: most peole have trouble with that

    LambentGracie: thank you

    spumko: want a couple tips?
spumko: look at your 3/4 Donald heads

    LambentGracie: yeah go on
spumko: the eye is too close to the back of his head
    spumko: he needs skull space
    spumko: same thing everyone does
    spumko: I don't know why
LambentGracie: you mean the yellowish one?
    spumko: another tip,
    spumko: on Kasper
spumko: plant his feet firmly on the ground
    LambentGracie: Right
spumko: he has to hold up a lot of weight
    LambentGracie: good one
    LambentGracie: he sure does
spumko: flatten the bottom of the feet
spumko: rounder at top of feet
LambentGracie: yeah I make things float
    spumko: not completely flat
spumko: just so it feels heavy
spumko: they are being squashed by his bulk
spumko: try a couple drawings like that
    LambentGracie: OK
spumko: pick 2 more of my Kaspers and draw them with solidity and weight
    LambentGracie: OK
spumko: and on 3/r heads, think about the space
spumko: otherwise the face becomes too crowded
LambentGracie: I did quite a lot of sketching of Kasper, I find him quite hard to make 3d from your sketches, there's so much bulk there to figure out
spumko: you could use my tips i your next post
spumko: and copy and paste them with the drawings
spumko: so that others can benefit
    LambentGracie: OK

spumko: I like your drawings a lot
    spumko: great feeling

    spumko: very original
    LambentGracie: thank you

spumko: your drawings make me happy
    spumko: byebye
