some screwy squirrels that i drew





here are some screwy squirrel own made up poses that I did, and also the original model sheet.

  1. Those look pretty spiffing to me Anne. This original poses business feels to me like a massively challenging step beyond good copying. But I guess it's practice, like everything.

    I think maybe your foreheads aren't quite as wide and interestingly curved as the originals, but I could say WAY worse things about the monstrosities I've been drawing today.

    Great flow on the poses.

    I think you should avoid the Twins in those two poses, they would turn out to be much more natural.

  3. watch out that you have some space in his cranium behind his eyes

    and that the cranium shape isn't skewed (pulled along a diagonal)

    I would also work on larger negative spaces between arms and body
