Howie study

This is sure hard. When drawing a background I can't draw the character as big as I used to do..

I start at trying to get the overall big proportions and forms good. I made the most errors in the details. Can't look at it anymore because I want to make it better...

  1. Better how? I've only gotten that close after many revisions. Is that the first round? Great job!

  2. it's a god eyeballed copy, but you should use construction to build it up...

or leave it in before erasing it
one note: like many cartoonists, you are making spaces shrink

like Ht Stuff's cranium behind the eyes, and the witch's too

  4. No It's not my first round. I really keep earasing allot until evrything looks correct. At the same time I lose all the construction with earasing that much. I will try not to earase anything next time.

I always have the feeling that I don't have enough space. That I draw allot of things to big.

Thanks I will try another one and keep those points in my head.
