Heya, folks! Sorry I've been somewhat slow lately. This is actually a block of about two weeks that ended last week, but I had a busy past few days because I had to run home for a friend's wedding. But I thought I'd report in and show some drawings.

Anyway, so, I was studying a really
handsome handful of model sheets of Mickey. You can see my progress on my blog (they started kinda rough!):
So, after I got more confident with the Mickeys, I started to do some of my own poses.

I had some problems that I can see now, but I was happy to get off to a decent start. I found that I struggled a bit coming up with good poses because I really wanted clear silhouettes and lines of action.

John's input on this one was that his feet were too even (it looks like he's tightrope walking, not just tiptoeing), and also that his stockings should be affected by the ground-- dented in a bit. Anyway, it was this one wherein I finally felt I was getting the swing of things.

I soon tried crossing some features (and obviously ideas for costume and business) from the opening of the Mickey Mouse Club.
My own poses:
Anyway, now I'm working on Howie Post trees. I am behind!! Keep on drawin', everyone, I love seeing your posts. They're great inspiration.
